^Lot 137 Carcano Type 1 Cal: 6.5 SN: D4138

Italian made for the Japanese navy, a blued bolt-action rifle with a 30-3/4" barrel. Metal finish is good with light edge wear and mild freckling of surface rust. Wood stock has a split on the buttstock joint. Some dings and scratches remain after stripping, sanding and oiling in refinish. There is a tiny crack by the upper tang. Bore is starting to turn frosty with good rifling. Action works well. Condition is good. *Modern Firearm*
